“We all need somebody to lean on”

These words from the iconic and very karaoke-able song hold very true. Every person on earth faces challenges, and at one time or another, needs someone who will listen and offer support. Some people have strong networks that will support them, while others feel like there is no one to call.
If you feel like you have no one to turn to, there are many, many resources available.

More important than anything else, always know that it’s okay to talk about how you’re feeling. Even if you don’t think you have a mental illness, reach out to your family (if you think they will respond well), or let a friend know that you’re having a hard time.

People need people, and that’s okay.
