The Wonder of Christmas

Celebrate the Advent season by slowing down, making space, and rediscovering the wonder of Jesus’ coming. Through the beautiful words of the Psalms, we journey through the themes of hope, peace, joy, and love—four gifts that point us to Christ and invite us to prepare our hearts for Christmas.

Join Host Melinda Estabrooks and Bible Teachers Ann Voskamp, Jenny Andison, Nicole Langman, and Cheryl Nembhard as they explore the wonder of Advent through Scripture, reflection, and practical ways to live out the hope, peace, joy, and love of Christ. Each of the four studies includes a short video teaching to accompany your time in the Word.

This study is an invitation to pause in the busyness of the Christmas season, listen for God’s voice, and allow the story of Jesus’ coming to become fresh and meaningful again. As we wait, worship, reflect, and prepare our hearts, may we encounter anew the wonder of God with us.

• Write down what God is teaching you during this season.
• Look for opportunities to extend hope, peace, joy, and love to those around you.
• Challenge yourself to carry the wonder of Christmas beyond the Advent season.
