Thirsty for God to Show Up

Excited is an understatement of my anticipation of the launch of Season 2. While filming these episodes, I had to continuously wipe at tears or pick my jaw up off the floor. At one point, our producer, Ayman, and I looked at each other speechless…until I managed to say, ‘Season two is going to be…’ and he finished my sentence, ‘…Wow…’

The stories that we have had the privilege of hearing and now sharing with you and truly ones that many need to hear. They are stories of successes and failures, heartaches and love, losses and restoration. All of them have the theme of redemption. My favourite theme of all.

Of course, we also have a new platform to share these stories. YES TV has just picked up See Hear Love and will be airing on Monday nights! This is a new and exciting thing for us all and I’m pretty sure I did a happy dance when I heard the news.

None of us knew what exactly would come of this ‘webshow train’ we agreed to jump on last January…and we sure didn’t anticipate it to get the response that we have gotten. However, we’re along for the journey, learning along the way, giddy and wide eyed as God continues to work through it.

The verse I picked out and share with you in this episode is Psalm 42:1, ‘As the deer longs for the streams of water, so I long for you, O God.’ As we enter Season 2, this could not be more accurate of how I feel. I am so thirsty for God to show up, for Him to flow through us and reach you, our viewers. I am eager to see how He works and I don’t want to do any ounce of this in my own strength. Rather, I long for Him - I thirst for Him and I will let that, alone, be my daily motivation.

Thank you for being on this journey with us, for learning with us, sharing these stories with your networks and for the encouragement you have been along the way. Now buckle up once again, grab that box of tissues, a bowl of popcorn and probably a notebook and pen, and let’s do more life together in Season 2!
