Who is this for?

We are looking for two women 20+.

How to enter:

  1. Write a 150-200 word paragraph on WHY you should be a Host of See Hear Love.
  2. Send us a 2 minute video clip of you speaking on one of the following current social issues:
    1. mental health
    2. poverty and injustice
    3. diversity and inclusion

Be sure to include how it has impacted you and how you think the Church in Canada can effectively respond to it.

Contest Rules:

OFFICIAL RULES

The following contest is intended for Canadian residents only. Entry in this contest constitutes acceptance of these contest official rules. These terms and conditions govern the “See Hear Love Contest” (“Contest”) conducted by Crossroads Christian Communications Incorporated (“CCCI” or “Contest Sponsor”) to provide opportunity for “See Hear Love” viewers to win a chance at hosting one or more episodes of “See Hear Love” show, a television production wholly owned by CCCI.  

Eligibility

No purchase is necessary. Contest is open to legal residents of Canada (excluding Quebec residents), who have reached age of majority in their respective province or territory at the time of entry (“Entrant”). Contest Entrant must have an email address and internet access.

Contest Sponsor, their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies and the immediate family members and those whom they are domiciled each are not eligible.

Contest Period

Contest begins at 12:00 AM (Eastern Standard Time) on 16th day of September, 2020 and shall continue until 12:00 PM (EST) on the 31st day of October, 2020 after which, contest period may be terminated or extended further for any length of time as deemed appropriate at the sole discretion of Contest Sponsor.

How to Enter and Prize Description

Entrant must register at Contest Sponsor’s website, www.seehearlove.com, and upload an audio-video recording of Entrant (not exceeding 2 minutes in duration) that describes why Entrant should take over the host’s chair for the “See Hear Love” show (“video”). Contest Sponsor shall reserve all rights to view the videos as submitted and make a final determination at Contest Sponsor’s sole discretion as to which Entrant shall be granted the prize of hosting for one or more episodes of the “See Hear Love” show (“Prize”). The announcement dates for the winner of the prize (“Selected Entrant”) and the granting of prizes shall be posted at Contest Sponsor’s website. Contest Sponsor reserves the right to grant as many prizes it desires throughout the Contest period and determine the date(s) in which the Selected Entrant may participate and appear as a host for the “See Hear Love” show.

Protection of Personal Information

By entering the Contest, Entrant consent to the collection and use of his/or personal information for the purpose of administering the Contest by the Contest Sponsor in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy laws. Entrant acknowledges that Contest Sponsor may communicate with Entrant via email respect to communicating the results of the Contest.

Winner Verification and Publicity/Liability Release

By participating in the Contest, in addition to any other rights which may be granted in any other agreement entered into between Contest Sponsor and Selected Entrant, the Selected Entrant irrevocably grant the Contest Sponsor and their respective successors, assigns and licensees, the right to use the Selected Entrant’s name, likeness, and biographical information, comments, city and province or territory of residence, and photographs in any and all media for any purpose, including without limitation, advertising and promotional purposes as well as on the website of the contest or other promotions, and hereby release the Contest Sponsor form any liability with respect thereto. 

Dispute Regarding Identity of Selected Entrant

If the identity of the Selected Entrant is disputed, the on-line entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the “Authorized Account Holder”. The individual assigned to the email address is considered to be Authorized Account Holder. The Selected Entrant may be required to provide proof that he/she is the Authorized Account Holder associated with the selected on-line entry.

Restrictions, Conditions and Limitations

Entrant agrees to abide by all the terms and conditions of the Official Rules as set forth herein and to be bound by them.  Such rules will be posted at all times at Contest Sponsor’s website, www.crossroads.ca. The Contest is governed by the laws of Canada. By entering Contest, Entrant release and hold harmless Contest Sponsor and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, and employees (“Contest Sponsor Entities”) for any and all liability, injuries, loss or damages of any kind arising from, or in connection with the Contest, or the use or acceptance of any prize won.

If for any reason, the Contest is not capable of running as planned, Contest Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest. Except as expressly warranted herein, the prize(s) are provided to Selected Entrant as is without further warranty of any kind.

In no event shall Contest Sponsor and Contest Sponsor Entities be responsible hereunder for any incidental, consequential, special, or direct damages.
