Corina Kung was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. She has been involved in ministry for over 25 years teaching, counselling and mentoring numerous people from children to young adults. After graduating with a Bachelor of Education at the University of Calgary she enrolled in a Discipleship Training School (DTS) with Youth With a Mission (YWAM). This life changing experience was the catalyst that lead her to ministry. After teaching in an elementary school for 3 years, she and her husband enrolled into YWAM Crossroads DTS in British Columbia and subsequently became Missionary Educators leading missions to British Guyana, Philippines, Taiwan, China, and USA. In 2003, they relocated to YWAM Calgary as their ministry focuses began to change. She eventually left YWAM to serve as Director of a Community After-School Program serving diverse families with unique and challenging needs. Though she is currently on hiatus due to health issues, she is strengthened in the joy of connecting with God and rediscovering that her identity is not based on her status, achievements and abilities.  Corina lives in Calgary with her husband of 27 years and their 20 year old son who is studying Kinesiology and Education at the University of Calgary.
