Nicole Fletcher Tourcette – Mar. 16
I had some trauma occur back in 2015 which led to a mental spiral downwards. This was very out of my character as I’ve always been strong and confident in who I am and what I looked like. I was diagnosed in 2017 with Depression, Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Anorexia. I was finally forced into the eating disorder clinic on June of 2017 and soon found out I was pregnant with my daughter (this saved my life!). After she was born things got bad again and I was suicidal so December of 2018 I checked myself into the Women’s health clinic at St. Joes in Hamilton and was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder. I was put on a proper treatment plan and although it crosses my mind everyday, it’s lost its hold over my heart. I’m still working on developing healthy habits- it definitely doesn’t happen overnight. I’m currently a SAHM to Zachary (5 years) and Ava (18 months) and married to an amazing man named Kyle.
