Natasha Sistrunk-Robinson
She began her career as a United States Marine upon her graduation from the U.S. Naval Academy in 2002 and later worked at the Department of Homeland Security. Her subsequent time at the Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Charlotte, where she earned an M.A. in Christian leadership, allowed her to integrate her faith in her work and to consult for both religious and secular organizations. In 2015, she founded the nonprofit Leadership LINKS, a faith-based youth leadership education organization based in North Carolina.
In addition to her consulting work, she engages the broader public through her writing and international speaking engagements on the subjects of leadership, mentoring, discipleship, reconciliation, and justice. She is the host of the Sojourner’s Truth podcast and the author of three books, including A Sojourner’s Truth: Choosing Freedom and Courage in a Divided World. In addition to maintaining her blog, A Sista’s Journey, she is a columnist for Outreach Magazine and a regular contributor at Missio Alliance. She is currently completing a doctorate at North Park Theological Seminary.
