Lorraine is an East Coast girl. Lorraine has lived in Manitoba twice, in 1994-1997 and again from 2001 to the present. Go Jets!
Lorraine was raised in a Christian home. Growing up, she attended church, Sunday school, vacation bible school, and became a Christian at the age of 13.
Lorraine is a wife and the mother of four amazing adults; three sons and one daughter. She has three beautiful daughters-in-law and a stepson. Lorraine is the grandmother of three precious grandsons (maybe four by June 15). Lorraine is a daughter, a sister and a friend.
Lorraine holds a Bachelor of Education, Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Education and a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration. Lorraine is certified as an iPEC Coach Centric Leader (professional life coach). Lorraine is a school principal. She served on the administration team of a large Christian School for 10 years (2004-2014). Lorraine now serves as a principal in the public-school system. She has been a school principal for 16 years.
Lorraine is active in her church community serving as a Deacon, leading a Life Group and facilitating a program called GriefShare. Having been widowed, Lorraine and her husband lead GriefShare to help people walk the journey from mourning to joy. Lorraine has spoken at ladies’ retreats and events on her journey from mourning to joy.
Lorraine likes to walk, bike, read, garden, cook, entertain and travel. Lorraine plays the occasional game of golf, enjoys the theatre and concerts, getting together with friends and trying new restaurants. Lorraine has the heart to serve and is a gifted leader.
