Join us in commemorating the first National Day of Truth and Reconciliation
On September 30, we observe and commemorate the National Day of Truth & Reconciliation, as we support and amplify the voices of our Indigenous Brothers and Sisters. Crossroads and See Hear Love would like to invite you to join us in this day of healing and repentance… in listening, learning, and loving.
Watch the 100 Huntley Street special episode, as our Host Melinda Estabrooks shares her thoughts on reconciliation and moving forward, along with other Crossroads Media Hosts.
Reconciliation is an action word, and we invite all Canadians to discover what their action steps could be through this special program. We have an opportunity to commemorate and reflect on the residential school experience, its legacy, and our role in reconciliation. We hope you will join us.
We want to support you by providing some suggestions for your personal reflection. Let’s all purposefully engage on this journey to grow in awareness and healing together.
At See Hear Love, we have had inspiring Indigenous special guests sharing their stories with us, and we encourage you to watch the following episodes:
- Our Indigenous Voice
- Coast to Coast: Northwest Territories, The Yukon and Nunavut
- Becoming a Peace Maker
Many resources are available to support participation in the National Day of Truth & Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day.
