Elita Friesen
Elita is a proud Texan living in Canada with Ryan, her husband of 17 years, and their four wild but wonderful young kids. After graduating from the University of Mobile with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Elita and her family re-located from Alabama to Langley, British Columbia in 2011. They’ve spent the last 8 years at their home church, Christian Life Assembly, where Elita has served as the volunteer director for their weekly women’s program, Mornings With Her, and more recently, on staff in women’s ministry. Elita is the author of two Bible studies: Relentless Mercy, an in-depth study on Jonah and Courageous, an in-depth study on Joshua. As a teacher and writer, she has a deep desire to see people of all ages, and in all stages of life, become biblically literate – not just reading God’s Word, but loving and living it. Elita and her family are currently preparing to move once again, this time into the heart of Vancouver. They are part of the launch team for The Way, a church plant located in the downtown core, where Elita will also serve on the teaching team.
