Diane L. Johnstone, was born and raised in Fairfield County, Connecticut and migrated to Toronto, about 20 years ago. She’s a dual-citizen and enjoys N. America!
She’s written and performed 4 one-woman shows. The most recent, “Desperate Church Wives” garnered a Canadian Comedy Award nomination, for Best One Person Show! Diane’s written the TV pilot for it and is currently fine tuning the script.
Diane is a full-time actress and a member of ACTRA and CAEA; also listed on IMdb. She has been on TV series such as, Salvation, Man Seeking Woman, 12 Monkeys, Warehouse 13, and Taken, to name a few. She was featured on The Morning Show and 100 Huntley Street. You can also catch Diane around town doing stand-up, with a Christian flare.
She coaches actors under the request and instruction of Hollywood actress, Tasha Smith, using Tasha’s method, TSAW.
Diane just hosted and moderated a Master Class with BET’s Executive, Robi Reed, Emmy Award winning Casting Director.
Diane is also an Ordained Minister, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology.
She also loves to play dress-up, but is a country-girl at heart, with a love for horses (English style riding), fishing, gardening (from seeds, sunflowers to green beans) and baking sugary, buttery, sweets from scratch. Your mouth watering?
